Audition Twist for 'American Idol 2015' Revealed
You know that "game-changing" twist Ryan Seacrest pimped for the American Idol 2015 auditions this summer? The twist he went on to never mention again during the performance show or the results show?
Well, our friends over at TheIdolPad have revealed the twist, and it's equal parts stunning and not surprising at all. The full details below via TheIdolPad.net:
Last week, host Ryan Seacrest promised that a "game-changer to the audition process" would be revealed this coming week. It's as underwhelming as you'd expect. Video auditions are expanding to multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Google+, Instagram, and Twitter.

However, there's more to the twist: now ANYONE from past seasons can re-audition, as long as they didn't make the Top 10. That means if Ben Briley, Emily Piriz, or Kristen O'Connor feel like putting themselves through hell again, they're more than welcome to. And plenty of others from this season are free to return. Check out the list below, also via TheIdolPad.net:
For season 14, the only season 13 contestants ineligible are the Top 10, rather than the Top 13. In other words, for the first time ever, 3 former non-touring finalists and 2 wildcard contenders may re-audition. Their names are listed below, in addition to other semi-finalists.Non-Touring Finalists
