'Attack on Titan' Attraction at Universal Studios Gets Trailer (VIDEO)

Universal Studios Japan is culling some of Japan's biggest properties into one epic exhibit. And the centerpiece is a popular manga/anime series that is now a major, live-action motion picture.

The teaser trailer for the upcoming Attack on Titan: The Real exhibit has been released! The exhibit will be part of the Universal Cool Japan event, which will include such iconic franchises as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Resident Evil (known in Japan as Biohazard) and Monster Hunter.

Running from January 23 to May 10, the exhibit will "attempt to bring the world of Hajime Isayama's popular manga series to life. This will include the centerpiece of the exhibit, a 49-foot tall statue of the Eren Titan battling a 46-foot tall statue of the Female Titan." It looks exactly as cool as it sounds, and should be one hell of a treat for any diehard fan of the series. For me, this is just about as cool as that Final Fantasy cafe in Akihabara, giving proof that nobody does fan service quite like Japan. With any luck, the exhibit will be popular enough that we might be able to get a taste of it stateside. Fingers crossed!
