AT&T Online Voting

I got an e-mail from a Fantasia fan that the link I posted the other day was in fact... ahem... useless. American Idol only accepts calls from landlines or cellphones, and text messages from AT&T cellphones. But we tried right? So next Tuesday, please use your phone, and if you get a busy signal, don't stop. Hopefully we should be able to beat the Dianamite (yup, that's their name) voting machinery. Think of this now as our grassroots effort to get the vote out for Fantasia next week.

I've been in touch with a lot of Fantasia fans over the past couple of days and here are links to other Fantasia sites:

www.fantasiabarrino.tk
www.fantasiabarrinofan.com

That's of course assuming that this blog is now a Fantasia fan site. Haha. Apparently, rickey.org is one of three MAJOR sites of Fantasia Barrino. Woohoo! I really should section off the Fantasia posts somewhere. But at any rate... we will be campaigning for Fantasia for the next few days. Tell all your friends to vote for Fantasia. Since I don't have many friends (... that watch American Idol), I've been talking to total strangers at the supermarket, drugstore, etc. and asking them if they watch American Idol, and then if 'yes', vote for Fantasia! Fun.

A lot of international fans have also been writing me. I will try my best to get this word out to Fantasia if and when I get the opportunity. (Networking is fun!)

But remember, we shouldn't be complacent. I'm absolutely convinced that there are hordes of Fantasia-haters out there that really vote against her on purpose. The venom in their posts all over the Internet is evidence of this. So even if you are not a hard-core fan, please vote next week even if you get a busy signal, because those haters definitely will. We hope that you get through. Don't worry, I myself have not heard the recorded "Thank you for voting for contestant so and so" in a long time!
