Ashley Madekwe exits 'Revenge'

Though ABC has renewed Revenge for a third season, not everyone who survived the season two finale will be along for the ride. Case in point: Ashley Madekwe, who plays scheming social climber Ashley Davenport.

The actress is exiting the ABC drama after two seasons, as the studio opted not to pick up her option due to "storyline reasons." Madekwe’s departure is hardly the only shakeup facing season three of Revenge. Creator and showrunner Mike Kelley stepped down amid disputes with the network, to be replaced by executive producer Sunil Nayar.

Revenge returns this fall on ABC.
