Aruba from 48 Stars

My housemate for two or so years, Aruba, is visiting from the Philippines, and it was great to see her again. We watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 (which is still amazing the second time around) and had a great conversation afterward. She told me that I'm a real New Yorker because I walk fast -- which is true, but also because I have had therapy. One of her stories that amazed me was how rampant cellphone theft is in the Philippines. She had a co-worker who had his phone swiped from his hand while he was using it in his car, stuck in traffic with his windows rolled down.
