To the surprise of absolutely no one, Ben Affleck's awards-juggernaut 'Argo', continues its path towards Oscar, claiming the award for Best Edited Feature Film (Dramatic) at the 63rd Annual ACE Eddie Awards held tonight in Beverly Hills.

The American Cinema Editors chose the thriller over its Oscar rivals 'Lincoln', 'Life of Pi', 'Zero Dark Thirty' and mega blockbuster 'Skyfall'. Meanwhile, David O. Russell's 'Silver Linings Playbook' was awarded the Eddie for Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy or Musical). In addition, Disney-Pixar's 'Brave' has slowed the 'Wreck-It Ralph' steamroll, claiming the Eddie for Best Animated Feature Film.

'Lincoln' director Steven Spielberg accepted the award for Filmmaker of the Year.
