Taylor Swift got a surprise 'Happy Birthday' serenade last night, Friday, December 12, 2014, from the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin, at the 2014 Billboard Women in Music Awards

Honorees at the event were: Taylor Swift, Jessie J, Charli XCX, Hayley Williams, Ariana Grande, Idina Menzel and Aretha Franklin.

Host Matt Lauer originally asked the ladies to sing for Taylor, but Aretha just did it all herself. Woohoo! Taylor turned 25 on December 13, 2014. Happy birthday!
