Antonella Barba & LA-EX - Mercy - Video

American Idol season six semi-finalist Antonella Barba was always a favorite of mine. Yes, I know she actually couldn't sing, but she was fun to watch. However, her time on the show was shrouded in controversy due to racy pictures that had leaked online. Barba has now teamed up with producers Epic and SQRL in the new group LA-EX, and they have covered Kanye West & GOOD Music's "Mercy."

Bandmates Epic & SQRL were former members of another band "Crazy Town", a rap rock band who had the hit "Butterfly" in the early 2000s. According to Ryan Seacrest, the group has "teamed up and have been working furiously in the studio for the past nine months making futuristic beats with a disco soul sound." Barba WORKED in the video and she and the group, going the proper route, getting the right treatment and promotion, could turn out to be the next Karmin. I'm checking for this.

And reminisce the good days?
