Anthony Fedorov Viewing Party

I just got back from the viewing party in the suburbs of Philadelphia near Anthony Fedorov's parent's home. It was a great opportunity to be with Anthony's close friends, his girlfriend, Irina, and even his brother.

It was a little bittersweet actually since I had left my DVR on to tape the show, but I just realized that they had been working on the electricity in my building today and they must have turned the power off at some point. I have no copy of tonight's show at the moment. Needless to say, no instant MP3s for everybody and no video for me to playback. I am now resorting to the kindness of strangers in the form of BitTorrent and I will wait overnight for something. Just unlucky but what can I do.

Some additional thoughts: Well, I have to admit, I felt like I was in the Ukraine for a moment there, as even Irina was speaking Russian to the girls, who were very hot pretty by the way, and I wish I had some more pictures. I felt very welcome as everyone seemed to know who I am. Steven even said, You look exactly the way you look like in your blog. Gee, thanks. I had a great time, and looking back, even if I had video issues (which I am still trying to resolve for the sake of my sanity), it was worth the 1 1/2 hour trip. Plus I could add one more state to those that I've visited so far.

It was great to be with fans of Anthony and American Idol. Even if they were rooting mainly for Anthony, they still had good comments for the other contestants: I like Mario, he has a good voice, Anwar's dreads look great, etc. (though there was a unanimous consternation for Constantine). Perhaps one day I'll meet other fans of other idols. (I need to send feelers for Mario. Haha.)
