Anoop Desai and Matt Giraud - Oreo Cakesters Jingle Contest

Oreo fans have been dunking their cookies in milk for years, but when it comes to eating Oreo Cakesters, the Oreo of snack cakes, there’s a debate: Do you dunk or don’t dunk? Now through April 5, 2010, Americans can choose their side and then sing for it as part of the new Oreo Cakesters Jingle Contest. Up for grabs is the chance to professionally record the jingle to air on national radio and meet singing idols Anoop Desai or Matt Giraud.
What:
Groups of up to four people are invited to choose a side – “dunk” or “don’t dunk” – and record that version of the jingle as a video entry. Complete lyrics and sample entries, performed by singing idols Anoop Desai and Matt Giraud, are available on the Oreo Facebook Fan Page at Facebook.com/Oreo.
How To Submit:
Now through April 5, 2010 visit www.facebook.com/Oreo or www.Oreo.com to submit entries online. Entries must be two minutes in length or less. For acceptable file types, size limitations and the complete details of how to submit your video, log on to the Web site for details.
Winners:
Up to three finalists for each side will be selected. Then, America will get to vote for its favorite on Oreo.com. Ultimately, two winners -- one “dunk” and one “don’t dunk” – based on the highest vote total will win a trip for four to New York City to professionally record their jingle and meet Anoop Desai or Matt Giraud.
Prizes:
The winning jingles will be featured on a national radio show and the winners will receive $1,000 in spending money, as well as a two-night stay and airfare for themselves and up to three guests.
