Aningaaq - 'Gravity' Spinoff Short Film - Video

Watch the Gravity companion film Aningaaq from Jonas Cuaron!

(WARNING SPOILERS)

Jonas co-wrote Gravity with his father director Alfonso Cuaron. The film shows the other side of the radio conversation Sandra Bullock had when she's stranded in space. In the movie, I thought she was talking to some Chinese people but it turns out to be the Inuit in Greenland.

It also shows the barking dogs. Sandra's howling on the other end was the best moment for me in the movie. I actually cried when she went "awooo." It's what I would have done.

The film was submitted for consideration for an Academy Award live short after initially intended for the Gravity Blu-Ray.
