Animal Crossing: The Movie

Ok fine, I will blog. As you may have noticed, I'm in a bit of a blogging slump. After my short trip to California, I fell into a depression hole, and did nothing but play Rainbow Six Vegas on the Xbox 360, drink Coke and eat fried pork skin (with lime and chili!) At some point it turned into a dangerous cycle when I noticed my surroundings had not changed for nearly 36 hours. Yup. These things do happen and I suspect some people have it worse. In fact, Xbox Live is populated by a lot of adult men with nothing better to do. There are also a lot of unsupervised children playing this violent game so you guys know. At any rate, yesterday, I finally turned the corner. I decided to stop the killing and walk away from the Xbox. Thank god I was able to accomplish some stuff to affirm that yes, you can make a difference in your life if you concentrate hard enough. Today, I actually worked at one of my freelance jobs. Hurray! Although I nearly got run over by car at Columbus Circle this afternoon -- my fault I guess for being slow-witted at the stop light -- so recovery is not yet complete.
So what I am blogging about? Ah yes, Animal Crossing. My (along with my nephew and 2 nieces) favorite game on the Nintendo DS. I play this game while on the subway. Basically, you have a town which you take care of and you interact with your neighbors and accumulate stuff for your home. What's neat is you can "open up" your town on the Internet and your friends can visit your town! You can trade fruits and other stuff. This pretty much blows my mind away since you are doing this networking stuff on this little tiny thing. Yay Nintendo!
And so now, an Animal Crossing movie. I need to get this DVD when it comes out.
For our next Nintendo DS Wi-Fi project, my nephew and I will play Final Fantasy III.
Thanks for the calls and e-mails of moral support! Mwah!
