Angry Restless Boy
I've been working quite hard over the past week and I can't wait to take a break. I'm hoping that nothing comes up this Sunday so I can just stay home, maybe paint my walls. Though I'm a little tired, I feel very useful, and hoping that I can keep it up without burning myself out. I think I did some good graphic work over the past few days. (Made a CD package and a small newspaper ad.)
Of course there have been a series of mishaps. I got into a shouting match with the "rabbi" next door who runs the Kosher restaurant without a restroom. I finally went off on him when after repeatedly asking him not send his customers to our store to use our restroom, he did it again. The customer was rude to me, and I couldn't take it anymore so I stormed his restaurant. He was so thick-faced he even lied to me that he did not send anybody, when clearly the customer told me that he was sent by this rabbi. I argued with him the next day when he came in to tell me that I would be held accountable the next time a throw a fit because of the restroom issue. I put my foot down thank you. Who the hell did he think he is to tell me what to do? At any rate, I have a standing position that every time this restroom issue comes up I will go ballistic. Another unfortunate incident was this morning when I had to deal with another crazy woman. Oh God, I've had it with these lunatics from the Upper West Side. After telling her repeatedly that there was something wrong with her diskette, she kept on telling me not to be embarassed if I didn't know what the problem was. Argh, it was so annoying, but I tried not to get too upset for the sake of my boss. Some people just suck the life-force out of you, and when you're tired like I've been for the past couple of days, you get affected a little bit more easily and miss the great comeback lines that will make a stupid customer shut up and go away.
There is not much good news to speak about in the sense of the ra-ra-I'm-so-happy kind. I guess I'm just here, and that should be enough to be thankful right now. I'd like to think that I'm a little down because I'm just pooped. I hope that the weekend will give me a recharge and get my emotions back to stable condition.
