Angie Miller to tour with Michael W. Smith this Christmas 2013

American Idol superstar Angie Miller will be the opening act for the Michael W. Smith Christmas Tour "Celebrate Christmas".

The tour starts on December 1, 2013 in Murfreesboro, TN.

Angie said on touring:

"I have looked up to Michael forever and have been singing his songs in church my whole life. I am incredibly honored to be on this tour with him now!"

Michael W. Smith meanwhile has nice words to say about the Season 12 third place finisher:

"Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Christmas, so I always look forward to touring at Christmas. Having Angie Miller out with us will be a lot of fun. In addition to an incredible voice -- she brings an excitement and enthusiasm to the shows that I think will be energizing -- Christmas is special. It deserves to be celebrated and that's what we plan on doing!"

American Idol makes stars! Christmas tours are huge for American Idol alumni so Angie is making a good move here.
