Angelina Jolie Wedding Dress - First Look (PHOTO)

PEOPLE has posted the first look photo of Angelina Jolie's wedding dress -- and it is absolutely stunning. The actress married her longtime partner Brad Pitt in France last August 23, 2014.

The dress looks fantastic: simple and elegant, exactly what I expect from Angie.

The wedding dress was made by Luigi Massi from Atelier Versace. It is the wedding dress of the year! I'm beside myself looking at it.

The wedding album appears on the latest issue of PEOPLE and Hello! Magazine this week. And I love that the children were actively involved in the ceremonies.

Each child had a key role to play: Eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mom down the aisle; flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also helped write their parents' vows. And Pax baked the cake!

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, tell PEOPLE. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

2014 has been a great year for Angelina Jolie. Not only did she wed finally, she starred in her biggest movie to date, Maleficent.

The Jolie-Pitt wedding album issue comes out this Wednesday.
