Angela Lansbury Says 'Murder, She Wrote' Remake is a Mistake

Angela Lansbury is not thrilled at the idea of a Murder, She Wrote remake. Who is? I wouldn't want to piss of Jessica Fletcher! While Angela supports the idea of a new show and fellow actress Octavia Spencer, she simply thinks it's a mistake for NBC to call the new series "Murder, She Wrote".

“I think it’s a mistake to call it ‘Murder, She Wrote,’” Lansbury said, “because ‘Murder, She Wrote’ will always be about a Cabot Cove and this wonderful little group of people who told those lovely stories and enjoyed a piece of that place, and also enjoyed Jessica Fletcher, who is a rare and very individual kind of person.

"I’m sorry that they have to use the title ‘Murder, She Wrote,’ even though they have access to it and it’s their right.”

I have to say I agree. I'm so tired of Hollywood running out of ideas. Get creative, not lazy.

What do you think?
