Andrea Faustini sings 'Hero' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Andrea Faustini sang 'Hero' on The X Factor UK Live Show 8 on November 29, 2014.

Another choice from the Hall of Overdone Songs. But Andrea smartly changed it up by adding some Italian to it, which was a stroke of genius, really. It didn't alter the DNA of the entire song or anything, but adding something unexpected to a song forces you to hear it a different way. This could have been a tiresome diva ballad that did little to distinguish itself from Andrea's past performances, but his artistry in changing up what he could about it (not just the Italian, but also his terrific vocal choices and flourishes) proves that Andrea is more than just a voice, in my opinion. I really enjoyed this, and hope Andrea manages to advance to next week's semifinals.

But what do you think of Andrea Faustini?
