Ron Burgundy, the fictional news anchor played by Will Ferrell in Anchorman and its upcoming sequel, has just gotten a book deal. Sort of.

Let Me Off at the Top! is a new autobiography attributed to the fictional character that will be published this fall, to coincide with the December release of the hotly-anticipated sequel to Anchorman, titled Anchorman: The Legend Continues. While the memoir does not feature a writing credit from either Adam McKay or Will Ferrell, who co-wrote both the original 2004 comedy and its upcoming sequel, the book is expected to feature a similar tone to the films. The autobiography will chronicle Burgundy's love life and career with the Channel 4 News Team, "offer(ing) a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be the greatest living news anchor."

"I don't know if it's the greatest autobiography ever written," the fictional Burgundy said in an statement, also noting that he "cried like a goddamn baby" the first time he read the book.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues will hit theaters on December 20th, and will include cameos by rap stars Drake and Kanye West, along with Kristen Wiig, who will play Brick Tamland's (Steve Carrell) love interest. In addition, Harrison Ford has joined the cast as a legendary, Tom Brokaw-esque news anchor.

The memoir, published by by Random House's Crown Archetype, will release on November 19th.
