An Afternoon at the MET

Really, my social life has never been better. I have been doings things almost every day now for the past several days. I'm beginning to amaze myself.

So today, a couple of hours with Mookie at MET. I picked up two "M" clips from the floor and we got in for free (though I normally donate .25 or a dollar anyway). We discovered the American Wing, had lunch and a pleasant conversation. I realized that I have become a little bit jaded with life. Mookie is full of hope in the world and hangs on to her art as a poet. On the other hand, I found that I my answers to her questions consisted of: "Well, I don't really think we have a soul," or "I think I'm just a really lucky man for surviving this long." But her thoughts did get me thinking. I probably should test the waters and see if I myself am still an "artist".

So over the past two days I have been taking pictures, enough for a new photo album.
