Amy Winehouse was found dead at her flat in North London Sky News reports. She was found at 4 pm and could not be revived by the medics. The death is still "unexplained" according to police.

British singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in north London, police confirmed on Saturday.

Sky News reported that the 27-year-old singer was found dead by the emergency services. The London Ambulance Service was called to her home in Camden just after 4 p.m., but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

“On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene,” a police statement said. Her death was reportedly being treated as ‘unexplained’ and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances, it added.
