Amy Adams Would Have Talked About the Sony Hacks on 'Today'
Earlier this week, NBC's Today show cancelled an interview with Amy Adams after the actress said she would prefer not to discuss the recent Sony hack during her appearance.
According to Adams herself though, she would have talked about it, even if she'd rather not get into it.

Explained Adams in an never cancelled interview later, "I expressed that I was uncomfortable. I said I would rather not add my voice to this conversation. But it was clear they were drawing a hard line. That this would be part of the conversation."
"I walked away from the conversation and went up to the room to do the interview. I assumed they were going to ask me about [the Sony hacks]. And I was prepared for that, to whatever degree I was prepared."
Adams was then told minutes later that the interview would not be happening.
"I was informed that they had decided to pull the interview," Adams said of the change in plans. "I was confused and definitely frustrated. I still don't understand."
Today says the interview was yanked because they don't allow guests to dictate what their interviews are about.
And this interview was apparently not going to be about Adams' role in Big Eyes, but about how the hack revealed she and co-star Jennifer Lawrence made less than their male counterparts in American Hustle.NEXT: Today Cancels Interview with Amy Adams
