"This show is about families! America is about families!"
Okay that was painful. The novelty acts wear off surprisingly quickly. It feels like once you've seen a juggler, or a half-naked old man -- you've seen them all. And the "real" talents aren't all that great. Or maybe I'm just jaded. Or induced to a coma.
Sharon Osbourne and Jerry Springer were a bit refreshing, and Hasselhoff aka The Hoff is relishing his role as the top draw for this show. "It's not about me, it's about the talent," was his reply when the crowd chanted his name. Yeah, right. Are they bringing back Celebrity Duets? I miss Little Richard.
