American Idols Live! Tour - Rickey Report - Worcester, MA - 08/09/08

(Here's a quick Rickey Report from one our cellcasters last night in Worcester: MVP Jamie!)

There was nothing too exciting tonight, but I'll give you some of my thoughts, in no particular order.

- No Mavid dance, sadly!
- Syesha's earring flew off just before she started her set, but it didn't seem to affect her. Maybe she'll blog about how she overcame that difficult problem, too. :-P
- I've read before that Ramielle isn't the greatest, but she sounded pretty bad tonight. She was just realllly off pitch at parts.
- David Cook mentioned that he'd heard that "Magic Rainbows" was on during the Olympic opening ceremonies. My friend who I persuaded to go with me judged me for knowing the words to TOML, but then shut his mouth when David held out the mic for the audience to sing a few lines of it, and they obliged.
- Archie seemed...sort of tired and out of sorts. I'm not sure if he might be sick, or upset, but he just seemed kind of unhappy, and very out of breath between songs - more so than usual.
- Brooke made fun of the pronunciation of "Worcester", and the Boston accent. Cute, and appreciated by the crowd.
- Jason was very gracious and kept thanking the crowd, and mentioned how he "hasn't been saying thank you enough".
- When I stopped at a gas station for a snack on the way home, I had an inexplicable craving for PopTarts.
