American Idols Live cancels some tour dates!

OMG The recession has affected the American Idol tour!

Cleveland, OH has been canceled!

Buffalo, Omaha, NE and Kansas City, MO are no longer available for sale on Ticketmaster (still need confirmation if they are canceled -- I think most likely)

Also, Bridgeport has been moved from Sept. 13 to July 9 and Chicago has been moved from Aug. 30 to Aug. 28.

Lilith Tour, Jonas Brothers have canceled tour dates. Christina Aguilera canceled her entire tour. OMG what's happening to the entertainment business? Sad face.

From USA Today:

A call Saturday afternoon to the box office of the Quickens Loan Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, confirmed that the show scheduled there for Sept. 11 was canceled on Thursday. Additionally, calls to Ticketmaster's automated box office found that tickets for scheduled shows in Omaha, Neb., and Kansas City, Mo., "aren't for sale through Ticketmaster right now."

Also, music industry Bob Lefsetz published an email from an unnamed agent claiming that some of the tour's dates have been canceled.

Meanwhile, the concert originally scheduled for Sept. 13 at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn., has been moved up to July 9. And Lee DeWyze tweeted Saturday that his hometown show, at Chicago's United Center, has been moved up from Aug. 30 to Aug. 28.
