American Idol XIII - Season Premiere to Have Advance Screening in 20 Cities - Details

Do you want to see the American Idol XIII premiere before the rest of America? Well, today's your lucky day. Or rather, Tuesday, January 14th will be your lucky day.

The special advance screenings will be held in 20 cities across the country, on Tuesday, January 14th -- a day before the American Idol XIII season premiere airs on FOX. The screenings will feature an interactive Q&A with host Ryan Seacrest and judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. Fans can submit questions now via Facebook, and via Twitter using the hashtag #AskIdol. The premiere and interactive Q&A will be streamed LIVE on AmericanIdol.com and Livestream and in 19 other venues across the country.

Is the advance screening playing in your town? The locations are as follows:

Los Angeles Sacramento Seattle Denver Phoenix Chicago Dallas Houston Minneapolis Nashville St. Louis Atlanta Boston Charlotte Detroit New York Orlando Philadelphia Tampa Washington D.C.

You can RSVP for the free promotional event in your city by logging on to www.idolrsvp.com and submitting your name and contact information. Although the screening is only a 24-hour headstart on the rest of America, these are supposedly really fun to attend. And hey, it's FREE! So why not hang out if you're an Idol fan and it's in your town? There are certainly worse things a person can do on a Tuesday night. (I can't really think of any, but I'm sure our fine commenters could think of some)
