American Idol XIII Results Shows cut to 30 Minutes - Report

American Idol XIII Results Shows have been cut to 30 minutes. Finally! FOX has done something right.

According to FOX's 2014 spring schedule:

"Surviving Jack is set to air on Thursdays (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) for eight weeks, following American Idol (8:00-8:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) results shows."

This is good news for everyone who has watched American Idol for the last 12 years. The results shows have been mostly filler -- and for some reason, they couldn't fill the hour as good as The Voice, The X Factor and Dancing with the Stars over the last few years. Cutting the results to 30 minutes is a great idea.

However, we'll never know. Surviving Jack -- which is a new show -- might be canceled and then we're stuck with an hour again.
