American Idol XIII - Promo - The Next Superstar Starts Here!

American Idol XIII promo: "The Next Superstar Starts Here!" Of course!

I don't understand why after twelve seasons, American Idol is still promoting Kelly Clarkson from Season One and Carrie Underwood from Season Four. That's like a decade ago.

The new generation of fans can't relate to their stories anymore. It's like Star Search coming back on the air then running promos that they discovered Usher, Beyonce and Britney Spears (almost everyone got their first break on Star Search back in the day).

They should be promoting Candice Glover, their current superstar! It's so unfair. Candice Glover is the reigning American Idol and FOX is ignoring her. What's the point of watching American Idol find the next superstar if they keep on coming back to Kelly and Carrie -- every single year. It doesn't make sense.

I cannot wait for FOX to discover the next Candice Glover! It's going to be amazing!

Only one competition turns singers into superstars. Catch the season premiere of American Idol January 15th on FOX.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, television's No. 1 hit series empowers contestants and viewers to share their voices in deciding who will be America's next singing superstar.
