American Idol XIII 2014 - Themes for First Two Weeks Revealed

Credit: FOX

What are the themes for the first two weeks of American Idol XIII?

Well, The Idol Pad has the good word. I say "good" because neither theme is Motown, Country, Songs from the Year You Were Born, or the Music of Lieber and Stoller. So what are the two themes exactly? Check it out below via The Idol Pad:

For the first week of the finals, the theme is "This Is Me".

For the second week of the finals, the theme is "Home".

Both themes are somewhat vague, but I'd argue it's a welcome vagueness, since these two themes could entail just about anything. This kind of freedom could lead to some killer moments, depending on 1) who the Top 13 finalists are, and 2) how big of a song catalog the show has cleared this season. Either way, I'm just glad for the possibility of something NEW!

What do you think of these themes? And what themes would you like to see, going forward? Sound off in the comments!
