'American Idol' Winner Phillip Phillips Gets Married at Resora Plantation

"American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips has married his longtime girlfriend Hannah Blackwell.

PEOPLE confirmed the news on Saturday.

Phillips said: "I'm so excited. What I love most about her is she's my best friend and I can tell her anything. I just love her."

Blackwell added: "I feel like when I met Phillip, he was the answer to so many questions that I had. He just makes everything make sense for me."

Blackwell wore a Hayley Paige wedding gown as she exchanged custom vows with Phillips – who looked dapper in a Billy Reid tux – at the Resora Plantation in Albany, Georgia in front of 250 of their closest friends and family.

The newlyweds will continue the celebration tonight at a Southern-style reception before flying out on their honeymoon next week.
