American Idol Tour - Rickey Report - Columbus, OH - 07/20/08
(Here's the Rickey Report of SaucyAussieCookGirl from Columbus, OH. She was a stah-cellcaster at the buses, along with PuppyJohnsFTW)
So I listened to the cellcast last night when I got home, the parts that Ali and I did, and I'm so glad that it sounded as good as it did, I'm relieved LoL As for the buses, I feel really bad that I didn't call, I just couldn't do it. Ali didn't feel well and she really almost blacked out and had to leave the line and go sit down, so I was alone. I had my camera in one hand, my tour book in the other, and when I had the phone on talking to Syesha, I almost dropped it because I was holding so much. But hey, at least I got her to say she loves you. I think you guys heard it, but she said "I don't know why everyone wants thinks I don't like him, I'm a lover, not a hater" LOL! She didn't seem mean at all to me last night, she redeemed herself, and she sounded incredible live, so I will no longer call her Manesha :)
Oh, and I just want to say that David Archuleta is THE most adorable, nicest kid I've ever met. He was very sweet and kind to everyone, I'm really glad I got to meet him. You already know I got to hug MJ...and I didn't get his SWEAT on my face, apparently, like I was telling everyone LOL I was disappointed that David Cook didn't come out, obviously, as was everyone else, but I think it had something to do with Michael Johns getting the water poured onto him.
The show was amazing, EVERYONE was, even those who I'm not a fan of were great. Syesha got a standing ovation after her last song, which she deserved. Carly Smithson blew the roof off of the place, along with blowing ME away. Archie did the same thing. I was in disbelief about how great Archie was when I was watching him last night, he's just so, so talented. You know how I feel about David Cook already and that I could go on for days about him, but I won't. Michael Johns--even better than I imagined he'd be--he NEEDS to be signed to a record label soon, he's incredible.
I had a lot of fun doing the cellcast last night, I really liked doing it and I'm glad I volunteered :)
