American Idol Top 8 Girls - Recap

Melinda Doolittle again brings the house down. LaKisha Jones also sang well, except that she was hobbled by the fact that everybody sings I Have Nothing. It's like some sort of worn out right of passage song. Melinda's performance was fresher.

Gina Glocksen showed her rock side "finally" according to the judges. Stephanie Edwards again demonstrated that she doesn't have an original style -- she has consistently gotten this comment from the judges week after week. Sabrina Sloan was similar.

Jordin Sparks opened the show -- always a bad place to be, but I hope she makes it tomorrow. Haley Scarnato and Antonella Barba (who seemed to have lost the votefortheworst magic) look like they will be eliminated.

In server news, the added memory helped but not too much. We still got those annoying database errors -- but clicking refresh a few times was not as agonizing as before (I think or I'm just thinking positive). It seems that memory isn't the real issue here I think. Will flirt with some techies for advice...
