Some of my big conspiracy theories did not pan out last night, which is a bit of a bummer. Kristy Lee Cook's circle of protection is still on apparently. And again, my decision-making is cloudy because Carly Smithson is in danger. Why is this happening? Why?

Rickey's Bold Prediction

My bottom 3 are: Carly Smithson, Syesha Mercado and Brooke White

Carly Smithson sang at #2, and with Simon Cowell's most severe comments of the night (for a second week in a row) she is in mortal danger of being eliminated. She is the most "obvious" to get kicked off tonight. However, I feel that if they really wanted to get rid of her, they could have easily done it last week, so... going against my "Rickey jinx" (which is I choose a favorite of mine to leave and that saves them) I am not choosing her.

Syesha Mercado sang at #3, and Simon Cowell said she shouldn't have chosen an obscure song. Because Carly is in more danger, there's a stronger possibility that Syesha might get eliminated for being less obvious. However, I am still bullish on her making Top 6... even if she has no fans.

Brooke White sang at #4, and had a hamburger-related comment from Simon Cowell. She's the most unlikely of my Bottom 3 to get eliminated, which at this stage in the competition could be a negative for her. Also, she had the complete red light treatment at one point in her performance, which is included in my arsenal of conspiracy theories in picking who goes home. This is apparently the only theory that works to get Brooke out and I've decided to go with it. Brooke has been in a free fall for three weeks now, and she was on my short list to get eliminated this week, so I think this is it.

My pick to be eliminated is Brooke White.

The winner of American Idol 7 will be David Archuleta.
