As promised, no matter what happened, my choice for elimination is Brooke White this week.

Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro are also in trouble, and will most likely be in the Bottom 3. However, will American Idol dare put David Archuleta in the Bottom 3 this week? Nigel might just do it to get the fans in full panic mode up to the finals, but it's unlikely. People would scratch their heads if Syesha -- who doesn't have any fans -- had more votes than David Archuleta. There's also a possibility of a Carly Smithson surprise when we least expect it: on the night Simon begrudgingly praised her. Which would be unbelievably cruel, and ultimately make me a Carly Smithson fan for life.

Syesha going is also a possibility: singing #1, the red lights. But given this was her best performance ever, it would just be wrong on many levels. Nigel, have a heart. I've already penciled her in for Top 4.

Jason Castro leaving is also a possibility: singing #2, weak performance. But getting rid of Jason now will make the following weeks more predictable since the 2 Davids will be the only guys left and they are the most popular. Jason is scheduled to leave next week (on my conspiracy theory list).

So my choice for elimination tonight is Brooke White. Oh did I just repeat myself?
