American Idol Songwriter 2007 - Review

Oh god, if this is the Top 20, I could just imagine what the rest of the songs sounded like. Ack.

If you are voting, I suggest listen to the first few songs before you vote so you get a feel of how the songs sound like. Then come back to the songs you skipped. Also, if you've voted for a song, there's no going back to listen to it. And what's up with these titles? We're such sappy Idol fans I swear -- makes me think that we do deserve 'Do I Make You Proud?'

I'm Going to Be Me -- 6 (very Nelly Furtado)

If You Ask Me To -- 8 (Because I'm a sentimental mess, this I liked. Sanjaya Malakar should sing this! Let's sign a petition. Fanjayas always want to vote for something.)

This Is My Now -- 6

Next Big Thing -- 2 (aside from god-awful lyrics, very Say My Name, Say My Name -- songs like this is a career non-starter LOL)

Haha, I just reviewed my scores, and I probably was generous for some songs. Eeek. But this was tiring! Also, if the votefortheworst people were smarter, this is the poll that they should be voting in. Nothing like singing 'You Never Gave Up on Me' in the finale to make everyone throw up.
