American Idol - Results

Bo Bice sings his single, Real Thing. OK, it was not good recorded, and now no better in a live performance.

It wasn't really good. How disappointing.

Results:

Kinnik Sky out with the lowest number of votes... and then we will not hear from her again. (We're bitchy tonight...)

Will Makar - eliminated. Sigh. The 11-year-old vote is not strong this year. Will miss you Will!

Now for the Top 12 (girls):
Paris Bennett, Katharine McPhee, Kellie Pickler, Mandisa, Lisa Tucker, Melissa McGhee

Ayla Brown eliminated. So back to a great career in basketball in Boston College.

Top 12 (guys):
Taylor Hicks, Ace Young, Chris Daughtry, Kevin Covais (We saved him!!!), Elliott Yamin, Bucky Covington

Gedeon McKinney is eliminated. I just have to be honest. The guys who get eliminated always say it is not the end, but the beginning. Unfortunately, it is the end. So good luck Gedeon, the odds are stacked against eliminated American Idol contestants.

I like this Top 12. I hope they sing well and keep us entertained for the next couple of months.
