American Idol Results Prediction 03/14/07

I wasn't supposed to do any predictions this year since I wanted to experience the sheer terror of not knowing what to expect this time around. I'm also quite bad at this, so what's the point? However, I just couldn't resist... hahaha.

Rickey's Bottom 3 and elimination:

Sanjaya Malakar -- It's quite obvious that they will put him again in the bottom, or at the very least be part of the "cliffhanger" after the commercial break reveal.

Brandon Rogers -- I'm torn between Brandon and Haley, but then it seems that the judges want Haley to do the sexy route this year. Also Brandon sang first and was not impressive.

Blake Lewis -- Bottom 3 and my prediction to be eliminated. Thanks The_Nightmare (haha, what a name) for reminding me that Blake sang the kiss of death song "You Keep Me Hanging On". Among all the Top 12 predictors (like singing first, etc.), this has a 100% success rate. Vanessa Olivares and Leah LaBelle, both sang "You Keep Me Hanging On" in the Top 12, and were soundly eliminated. There is just no escaping this curse of a song. Dialidol.com is also showing that Blake is in the Bottom 3. We're going to have another shocker tonight, but then again, every Idol fan knows that no one sings "You Keep Me Hanging On" and survives.
