American Idol Recap - Birthyear Show
(A bit late, but I was making freakin' media files)
First up, Nadia Turner. Again very beautiful in her extra short red skirt. I actually liked her this week. I just can't remember the tune of the song she sung which is unfortunate, but I liked her vibe tonight.
Bo Bice. He's beginning to rally his troops again with this performance, but Constantine has outperformed him for two weeks now, and all of a sudden he "needs" a knockout performance. I wouldn't count him out though. I think we'll see something big from Bo again very soon.
Anwar Robinson was HOT. Didn't you just want to have sex with him on the stage? The buttoned down shirt... looking into the camera like he just wants to make love to you - whatever gender you were. He was just hot. I don't even remember what he sung (oh, another song by a woman), but it was all about sex appeal for Anwar tonight.
Anthony Fedorov - finally some love from the judges! Although this kind of worries me because you know how things happen for me in reverse, but still... finally some recognition. This made voting a lot easier tonight as I wasn't in a state of panic. I hope his fan base is solid. Are we?
Vonzell Solomon. Hmmm. She's sweet, but again, I do not remember what she sang. This from a guy whose been recording MP3s for two hours. I still like her, but again, hmmm.
Scott Savol. Yes, that's his baby picture. He confronted the judges which I think is always a cardinal sin, and Randy was right: even if he nailed the high notes, half the song was too low for his voice. So what's up with Paula? I think she's a little loony. I am so interested to see what his vote demographic is, because apparently it is a large group -- and it makes me scared, literally for my life. Seriously, I mean we all have challenges in our lives, and Scott's plight whatever he is trying to project, is no different from you and me. I don't think Scott's is extra special -- this you and me against the world drama just doesn't work for me, but clearly its working for a lot of people. And why is this guy so angry? It's a friggin singing contest for God's sake. Also, his barber shouldn't have plucked his eyebrows.
Carrie Underwood. The spoilers which appeared on the comments pages were right! It's interesting how Carrie went rock, which didn't work for the judges, but worked for me. Maybe I just like her. But the extra energy boost helped her get out of her laid back country "image". She still so safe into the finals.
Constantine Maroulis. I think Constantine was just testing the waters during his first couple of songs because three spot-on performances in a row is not luck. He recognized the style and mood that fit him and his audience and he's just rolling with it. Will it be a disaster next week? Who would have thought he'd nail Bohemian Rhapsody? That's Mario's song! Haha.
Predictions for tomorrow:
Bottom 3: Anthony, Nadia, Scott
Eliminated: Anthony
