American Idol Milwaukee auditions draw 10,000
Yay! American Idol is as popular as ever.

A crowd that a Fox spokesperson numbers at "just over 10,000" gathered at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisc., for the second batch of American Idol Season 10 auditions. City officials blocked off several streets around the arena, which opened early to avoid excessively snarling morning traffic, and Milwaukee native Danny Gokey showed up at 6:30 a.m. to greet the crowd. Ryan Seacrest, who wasn't at the Nashville auditions, also put in an appearance.
