"My spirit is broken!" -- Brittenum twin
Jeez. This show is writing itself. Because he didn't check with his brother first, Derrell Brittenum makes a dramatic resignation from the competition in front of the judges -- declaring that he and his brother will finish their album without American Idol. When he discovers that his brother actually made it to the next round, they both go back on stage and ask for forgiveness to be put back in. What a bunch of losers. Of course, Simon et al. do let them back in because they know a train wreck when they see it, and will squeeze it dry for all its worth.
I'm a bit not inspired tonight since the show focused too much on the drama surrounding the Brittenum twins... who we all know eventually ended up in jail after the Hollywood taping. I'm just disappointed that the show let them take over the show with their arrogant antics.
Tomorrow, the Top 24 gets chosen! Wow. The competition starts next week. I can't wait.
