Crystal Bowersox
Black Velvet: This actually works well for Crystal's voice. But I don't think this is the type of music she likes to sing. I tried to imagine Crystal being sultry while singing this in a smoke-filled bar -- and my mind froze. But good choice from Simon Fuller for her voice.

Up to the Mountain: This was more like it. Very nice. Unfortunately, this is an anti-climactic song and doesn't sound like a "winner's" song with confetti falling and green laser lights hitting the audience. But great job from Crystal. Let's hope music like this should makes her album.

Lee DeWyze
Everybody Hurts: As usual, Lee DeWyze does a brilliant job in the studio. So much better than the live version (as usual).

Beautiful Day: Excellent. I love this! This is a great winner's single. Too bad it's not an original song this year -- but Lee does a great job. We'll be singing this on the Summer Tour, yay!
