American Idol Celebrates Its 400th Episode Tonight
Can you believe this? After ten years of watching American Idol, the time has finally come for this 400th episode milestone. We've seen this show find some of the greatest artists in music (Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson) and some "who's that?" (Lee Dewyze, Taylor Hicks, Ruben Studdard).
Nigel Lythgoe tweeted today, saying:Congratulations to our present "team" and everyone who ever worked on the show. Tonight is#AmericanIdol's 400th episode.#AmazingIdol.
(I wish there was a photo of all the Idol winners. I couldn't find one, if there is)
Amazing Idol? Well, Mister Dizzy Feet, I wouldn't quite go there this season, but I do agree, Idol has become the centerpiece of my life ever since high school. Heh.
Tonight's episode should be interesting--with the girls performing Whitney Houston and the guys performing Stevie Wonder. They will be mentored by Mary J. Blige. I really do wish the theme was more worthwhile. Perhaps, even doing an Idol-related theme.
What are you most excited about this show? Or, has it lost all its mojo?
