'American Idol' Auditions In Front Of Judges Begin (VIDEO)

"American Idol" auditions in front of judges started this week just days after the final two seats were picked. Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie were announced as judges just last week joining Katy Perry and Ryan Seacrest on the reboot.

I'm glad that ABC decided to shell out some money for established talent on the judges' table. Having B-rated talent would have diminished the standing of the show.

The former #1 singing competition on TV airs on ABC early 2018.
