American Idol 9 Top 9 Recap + Poll + Roundup

Music from Lennon/McCartney tonight on American Idol!
Aaron Kelly - I think he's in trouble tonight. He didn't really do too much with the song -- he just sang it. I still like his singing style, but it may not be enough to get votes to bring him back next week. PLEASE SAVE AARON KELLY! 1-866-IDOLS-01! He's from a small town, he needs our help!
Katie Stevens - Her best performance of the season. She's finally singing with confidence.
Andrew Garcia - Two judges said it was corny. Add my name to the list who agree. At least he sang mostly on key, but it really didn't work for me.
Michael Lynche - This was too dramatic for me! But Big Mike seems to enjoy singing in this manner.
Crystal Bowersox - I was too distracted by the didgeridoo. This was not her best peformance and she did biff that big note.
Tim Urban - Wow. It's a post Easter miracle: the judges love Turban! And now we all don't know how to react. LOL
Casey James - The best of the night and one of the best performances of the season, if not the best. Casey just put himself back as one of the front-runners.
Siobhan Magnus - I loved this. Siobhan toned it down after a couple of weeks of trying to wow us with the big notes... and it worked. But it did confuse Kara.
Lee Dewyze - This will go down as one of the strangest performances in American Idol history. Halfway through the song bagpipe dude walks on the stage during the nananas... a classic! We find out later it was all Lee's idea. Hahaha. I loved it. It wasn't a trainwreck, it was just weird! Go Lee!
So on the night we were introduced to a didgeridoo, a bagpipe dude and the concept of "Danny Gokey Babies"... who was your favorite?
I think Aaron Kelly is in trouble -- but you can help me save him! Vote! 1-866-IDOLS-01!
SAVE AARON! GO TEAM AARON!

AI9 Bagpipes and a Didgeridoo, too (Howard Stump) - For me, Casey was clearly the best, followed by Katie. I know, that is just strange to me, too.
Idol: Didgeridoos, bagpipes and Siobhan (Joey Guerra) - Come together, right now -- and underwhelm us.
American Idol top 9 performance recap, rankings, polls (Rodney Ho) - I groaned when I heard they were doing Beatles – again. But the songs hold up the test of time so it wasn’t a bad move even if several contestants repeated songs from 2008.
‘American Idol’ Tries To Buy The Country’s Love (Maura Johnston) - On tonight’s ‘American Idol,’ Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell seemed to be obsessed with the idea of making the music of the Beatles “relevant” to contemporary audiences.
Top 9 Recap- "I'm Glad Those Two Can Be Together, Get Married, and Have Lots of Little Danny Gokey Babies" (Vote for the Worst) - Who knew the Beatles were so damn boring? This show still made its way into the season of VFTW, but most of the performances were snoozeworthy.
