American Idol 9 Orlando Auditions Recap

Okay, I'm a little disappointed with tonight's American Idol auditions in Orlando.

Kristin Chenoweth was the guest judge and I was extremely excited to see her on my favorite show.

Half-way through the show however, she left. What was that all about? "She was called back to New York," Ryan said. That moment made me tune out. Thankfully, Cornelius Edwards and his split heard around the world saved the show - barely.

Anyway, the contestants tonight were a bit lackluster -- and it was all about backstory. The show even ended with a bank robber seeking redemption on Idol - as if that was possible.

They also did not show the audition of Aaron Kelly - though I did spot him as getting a golden ticket to Hollywood. Maybe they are saving him for Hollywood Week. They also showed Michelle Delamor as a "coming up" preview but didn't show her audition either. Did she even audition in Orlando?

How did you guys like the show tonight?
