American Idol 9 - Hollywood Week Underway

Ryan Seacrest just sent a tweet that he's on his way to the taping of the American Idol Season 9 Hollywood Week!

Hollywood Week is extremely delayed this year because of the judge changes. Auditions are held during the Summer and then Hollywood Week happens in the Fall. Then sometime in January, the Top 24 (or semi-finalists) are selected.

This would explain why the spoilers have just not been happening -- because there are no spoilers. Most of the Idol blogs have resorted to posting previews. This will all change at the end of the week, when hopefully some disgruntled Hollywood Week contestants start spilling beans in bitterness.

So it's Hollywood Week, then straight to Top 24 this season. I'm so excited!
