American Idol 9 Denver Auditions Recap

American Idol Season 9 Auditions come to Denver. Victoria Beckham is guest judge again. I was pleasantly surprised at Posh. There was more interaction this time compared to her last go as a guest judge.

Notable auditions include Haeley Vaughn who fashions herself as the first female black country pop singer and Casey James who took off his shirt after he sang (cougar bait?) I got so many red flags going off on Casey since Simon dissed him outright -- and Simon does this all the time to people who will eventually go far in the competition. Will Casey win Simon over in the next few weeks? We shall see.

I kinda liked Bikini Boy, but nobody seemed to care.

One more audition show tomorrow - a "best of" show which I believe will feature some rumored Top 24 contestants Aaron Kelly and Michael Lynche. So excited!
