So now for Rickey's Picks!
Guys: I'm still bullish on Jason Yeager getting the boot tonight. Though knowing my amazing luck, he might just stay. My other pick is Luke Menard. 2 teen cannon-fodder went home last week, so 2 older cannon-fodder tonight.
Girls: I'm torn! First the easy pick: Alexandrea Lushington. Just nothing much going on with her. Now the difficult part: At first I thought maybe Kristy Lee Cook, but American Idol needs a sexy girl in the Top 12, so they might give her another free pass this week. And then the obvious Amanda Overmyer. My judgment is cloudy now since I really want her to stay, but on balance, even if she had a disastrous performance, she is still interesting enough to keep for at least one more week. And a surprise non-elimination, what would American Idol be without that? So that leaves me with another favorite of mine Kady Malloy. Kady gave another lackluster performance plus she is not as memorable as the disaster of Amanda, so Kady goes home tonight.
