Rickey's Bold Prediction

I started tonight with a list of who could go home this week: Ramiele, Syesha, Kristy or Amanda. And then, the singing order made things a bit clearer. At #1 & #2 were Amanda and Kristy, and #9 & #11 for Syesha and Ramiele. Ramiele is saved! Woohoo! So is Syesha... wooooo. So it's basically between Amanda and Kristy tonight. I flipped a coin (yup, sometimes you just have to do that) and it was Kristy Lee Cook! However, since she was the worst performance of the night and it would be anti-climactic if Idol eliminated the obvious, Amanda Overmyer, my favorite nurse, will be going home. Besides it's now painfully evident that the one-dimensional sound of Amanda has run its course on American Idol.

(Amanda Overmyer: upside -- more of the same rocker chick sound. Kristy Lee Cook: upside -- legs!)

The winner of American Idol 7 will be David Archuleta.
