American Idol 7 - Morning After - iTunes Charts - 05/01/08 - Neil Diamond Week Disappoints

David Cook continues to dominate iTunes downloads with "I'm Alive" leading the Top 5 songs this week. Also as of today: "Always Be My Baby" and "Music of the Night" are remarkably selling better than David Archuleta's "Sweet Caroline" and Jason Castro's "Forever in Blue Jeans". This could be because of a general weakness in the song choices. None of the Neil Diamond songs hit the Top 20 of iTunes overnight unlike previous weeks. "I'm Alive" is at #22.
I just checked the iTunes Top 20 and "I'm Alive" has jumped to #16.

"Sweet Caroline" and "Forever in Blue Jeans" are very close. I will check throughout the weekend if the positions switch.
