American Idol 7 - Dolly Parton - Results Prediction - 04/02/08

Coming into this week, I had a short list for elimination: Syesha Mercado, Kristy Lee Cook, Ramiele Malubay and Michael Johns. It's still a bit too early for a Jason Castro or Carly Smithson shock elimination (or isn't it?), so I am not considering them. Although Jason Castro is falling dangerously close to not attracting anyone new except his core audience.

For this week, the singing order pretty much sealed the fate of Ramiele Malubay for me. In a classic good cop bad cop, Randy Jackson had some praise, Paula Abdul was raving, and then Simon Cowell with "no it was forgettable". The judges did it as well with Kristy Lee Cook, but Kristy sang toward the end at #7 which is much safer than singing #3.

It might be a bit more of a challenge choosing a Bottom 3. Will Brooke White take a dip in the elimination stools tonight?

So my pick for elimination is Ramiele Malubay.

The winner of American Idol 7 will be David Archuleta.
